Not sure how to use a lick mat or what to put on it? This pink one for dogs and cats comes with a simple way to decide on the spread, the thickness and the serving style.
Pick your spread
Peanut butter, yogurt or another soft treat can all be spread across the surface. Choose something that is easy to smear and check the ingredient list first. For a first try, keep it simple and use a small amount.
Choose a serving style
Fresh: spread and serve right away for a short snack session.
Frozen: the mat is freezer-safe, so you can freeze it before serving to make a session last longer.
Where to place it
The suction cups on the back hold the mat in place on a smooth surface, such as a tile floor or a countertop. Press it down firmly and give it a gentle tug to test the grip before you let your pet start.
What to know about the mat
Color: pink.
Surface: multi-level and textured, which slows down soft food.
Suitable for: dogs and cats.
Care: dishwasher safe; rinse and dry between uses.
