A reinforced leash with a padded grip, and a short guide to inspecting and cleaning it so the handle and clip keep working as well in year two as in week one.
The build
Mona is lightweight and durable, with a padded handle that stays comfortable on longer walks and with dogs that pull. The construction is reinforced and made to keep up with daily use.
Routine upkeep
Wipe the grip: a damp cloth removes sweat and dirt from the padded handle.
Air dry: let the leash dry completely before hanging it away.
Check the padding: press along the handle to see that it still feels even.
Test the clip: open and close it a few times to make sure it moves smoothly.
Lengths
4 ft length: Short and manageable, a fit for tight streets, vet-office waits and anywhere people gather.
6 ft: Gives your dog time to snuffle around on quieter walks.
Storing it right
A hook near the door keeps the leash from being crushed or chewed. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or in direct sunlight, and replace it if you see stitching coming loose.
