Cheeky Monkey Nylon Dog Collar

The details decide how long a collar lasts. This Cheeky Monkey dog collar uses 1" nylon webbing and hardware chosen by a small US workshop, handmade in the USA.

How it is built

• Two webbing strengths: 1" heavy nylon rated at 4,200 lb, or super heavy nylon rated at 6,100 lb where offered in the menus.
• Your choice of buckle: YKK plastic side-release buckle, or a metal buckle where offered in the menus.
• Welded triangle ring: holds the leash and ID tags; the maker uses it instead of a standard D-ring for strength.
• Adjustable fit: metal slide for sizing and a metal keeper.
• Finished to last: triple box stitching, heat-cut webbing and treated ribbons.
• Small-maker made: handmade in the USA by Doot's Pet, which gives back to homeless pets in its community.

Fit and care

How to measure: measure the neck with a soft tape at the spot where a collar normally rests, then add enough slack for two fingers. Pick the size that has your number in the middle of its range rather than at the edge.

To keep it looking good, hand wash with mild soap, rinse well and let it air dry; avoid leaving a wet collar on overnight.

Some designs can be ordered with super heavy webbing, metal hardware, a martingale version or a matching 6 ft leash. If an option does not appear in the menus above, it is not available for this collar.
